The host of the podcast Chasing History Radio, Chase Pipes has a longstanding interest in history and archaeological artifacts. Chase Pipes also serves as the co-owner of the Smoky Mountain Relic Room in Sevierville, Tennessee. He oversees all operations of the store, which houses a diverse collection of historical finds from across the world.

For over four decades, the Smoky Mountain Relic Room has been working along with discoverers, dealers, and collectors in its quest for unveiling history and the critical materials connected to it — including books, fossils, antiques, and other items. According to the personnel at the store, history is accessible everywhere, and the only factor that plays an important role in getting access to the remnants of history is “knowing where to find them.” The crew at Smoky Mountain Relic Room take this responsibility on themselves on behalf of history lovers (like them) who are interested in getting access to these historical artifacts but are unable to do it on their own.

At the store, numerous collections of antique materials and documented prehistoric finds are available for purchase. Aside from showcasing the planet’s history, the store houses a collection of items from outer space that have found their way to earth. The store also has a YouTube channel (Chasing History) where the Smoky Mountain Relic Room interviews discoverers of history from all over the world. The Relic Room is located on the lower level of Smoky Mountain Knife Works on Highway 66 in Sevierville, Tennessee, and is open to all history lovers.
